The last time Eminem performed at the same concert as Jelly Roll — as far as we can recall — was when multiple stars took the stage last June to mark the official opening of Michigan Central Station in Detroit’s Corktown. At the time, Eminem was one of the evening’s surprise performers.
On Sunday night, Eminem, a hometown favorite, made another surprise appearance, joining Jelly Roll at a concert at Ford Field.
Adam Graham of The Detroit News reports:
The Detroit rapper joined Jelly Roll for a rendition of “Lose Yourself,” appearing on stage during the song’s second verse. Eminem embraced Jelly, and the two finished the song together, meeting at the top of the stage’s long ramp and then walking to the end of it together.
